One of the only buildings in my all-forest world. It’s a frigging tree house, okay. On a hill overlooking the ocean. I love it a lot. It has stuff growing on the roof. I like when things grow on the roof.
So I spent a week building my
second failure very first world in CAW. It’s completely forested, no buildings, with a couple small exceptions. I wanted a world where everyone lives outside. Now I have it. And now I’m bored with it and don’t want to play it. I’m so bored of it I can’t even be bothered to crop my screenshot but mostly because CAW is too big for my screen and I can’t resize it. Why do I do these things?
I have no idea what happened. I switched tabs for a few seconds to change songs, not even a full minute! And when I came back Momo was on fire! But it took me a minute to figure it out because for some reason the game wouldn’t display any fire so I just saw Momo flailing and screaming and smacking herself for no reason and she wouldn’t stop. Then a firewoman came and put out an invisible fire. Wtf.
INVISIBLE FIRE IS NO LAUGHING MATTER. I COULD HAPPEN TO YOU.
Oh hey and I am building something else too. It’s a club/lounge/place/thing. It’s a work in progress. Look at it with your eyes.
Ground floor: The corners on either side are restrooms, top corner is the stereo/instruments— sort of a tiny stage. There are three spiral staircases leading to the second floor:
I think I may have made it a little too spacious but I’m not rebuilding it.

I had a dream about moving into an apartment and I liked the apartment so when I woke up I tried building said apartment in Sims 3. Let me show you it.
I wanted it to look like it was part of a city block somewhere so I built some fakey buildings around it on the lot. I know the open spaces will cause a few pathing and processor issues but I don’t care I do what I want. Locking the door on the fake apartment (on the left) has so far stopped Momo from wanting anything to do with those extra spaces.
(Also for some reason the game wouldn’t let me build walls directly onto the ground no matter how I tried so I had to give it all an awkward foundation thing)
Let’s head inside, shall we?
In my dream, those giant front windows were actually privacy glass but I don’t have those in the game so you get “the girl scouts will totally know I’m hiding from them” style windows instead. There’s a little entryway where guests can leave their shoes and coats because that crap’s nasty and we don’t want mud all up in our crib.
More under the cut…
My sim just got hit on by another sim who was at that time on a completely different lot on the opposite end of town…
By the time Robyn finished getting dressed, Alastair had woken up and started making them breakfast.
Robyn: “Seeing him like this… he almost looks normal.”
Robyn ended up swimming all night, so Alastair told her to help herself to the shower and he went to bed.
Robyn was impressed with how fancy the bathroom was.
Robyn: “For a short time, I get to pretend I’m rich.”
Robyn: “There’s even a dressing room! An entire room just for getting dressed! And look a chair. Just in case you get so tired from putting your pants on that you need to sit down.”
Craig Fender is completely unable to take a hint. (See last time this happened.)
